The Process
Fundraising University takes a lot of pride in providing teams and programs with the best products on the market. What really draws people to work with Fundraising U is the brief, individualized fundraising process we employ. Our fundraisers only last a week so coaches/instructors and teams can quickly return to concentrating on their season. Fundraising U will work with you every step of the way because we understand that you can’t be expected to be an expert in the fundraising business – that’s our job. And we want to see you succeed just as much as you want to succeed.
The great thing about Fundraising University is that no matter what product you sell, the process is always the same. Listed below are a few key components of our unique fundraising process.
Coach/Instructor Meeting
Fundraising University understands the importance of being prepared – that’s why we schedule an all-coaches/instructors meeting no more than a week before from the sale. The meeting takes roughly 20 minutes to review important dates, set goals and go over the prizes that Fundraising U will give to the group/school for being successful.
Kickoff
The next part of the process is called the kickoff. This is where a Fundraising University representative visits the group/school and explains all the details of the fundraiser. This takes about 20–25 minutes. The representative and coach/instructor will set forth the expectations of the fundraiser and give the team any motivation they might need to go out and do a great job.
Blitz Night
Blitz Night is the most fun night of the fundraiser. This is when the group/school sees the results of a good week of work, because everything concludes at this event and the group/school walks away with their profit. In addition, prizes for meeting and exceeding expectations are passed out to the students. It’s really a fun night and a great way to wrap up a solid week of effort.
Prizes
Fundraising University gives out all prizes on the night of the Blitz. These prizes are provided by us, so your group/school doesn’t have to worry about losing any profit on the fundraiser. We’ve found that cash prizes are a great way to motivate sellers, so we have cash drawings for the top sellers and a game called “Money Survivor” that they can play to try and secure a little profit of their own.
Delivery (for Cookie Dough)
Fundraising University realizes that one of the most important and complicated parts of doing a cookie dough fundraiser is organizing the delivery. We’ve heard about the nightmares that other groups/schools have gone through because of the delivery. That’s why we feel it’s important to help out with the delivery, not only by organizing the shipment, but by being there during the delivery process. This is just one more thing we do to offer you the best service we can.
